Butter Pot Star Party 2026

The RASC St. John's Centre will be holding its annual Butter Pot Star Party
at Butter Pot Provincial Park offering telescopic views of the Moon, Planets
and Deep Sky objects, as well as Solar viewing during the day.

Friday August 21st 8:30pm to 11pm (tentative date)
Saturday August 22nd 1pm - 3pm (tentative date)
Saturday August 22nd 8;30pm - 11pm

Note: While the Star Party is free, the Park does charge a small entry fee

Terra Nova National Park Night Sky Festival

The RASC St. John's Centre will be joining Terra Nova National Park with astronomy
presentations, and offering telescopic night time views of the Planets
and Deep Sky objects, as well as Solar viewing during the day

Thursday 13th to Sunday 16th, August 2026 (tentative dates)

International Fall Astronomy Day
& International Observe the Moon Night

The RASC St. John's Centre will be at the GeoCentre, Signal Hill,
holding its annual "Astronomy Day" and "IOMN", at the
GeoCentre Parking Lot, on Signal Hill. Views of the
Moon, and other celestial objects will be provided.
