Meeting was called to order by the President (Chris Stevenson) at 8:06 PM .

Chris welcomed the audience with a review of the RASC and benefits of membership (Observers Handbook, SkyNews, RASC Journal, Equipment).

Roll-call revealed several guests.

Speaker – Ryan Snoddon, CBC meteoroligist – Weather forecasting for Astronomical Observing

Ryan gave an exciting presentation of challenges of weather forecasting with some emphasis on cloud coverage and predictions of clear skies. He showed various models
that he uses daily and how the public could access some of the available models and web sites. His hour-long talk was well received followed by extensive question
and answer section. Members agreed that it was a good presentation.

Ryan was presented with a 2013 RASC calendar as thanks for his talk.

Observation Reports – R. Dodge – Lunar X, Solar Eclipse (via internet), C. Stevenson – Lunar Wall, Jupiter, M-objects

Members were invited to purchase the 2013 RASC calendar at a centre-discounted price. We have 45 calendars available for purchase.

Robert reviewed the What's UP for Nov-Dec and provided copies to members.

Coffee & Social – Members were invited to partake in a coffee social and to continue informal discussion.
