   Chris's Introduction

   Meeting was called to order by the President ( Chris Stevenson ) at 8:05 PM.  Chris welcomed the audience with a review of the RASC and benefits of membership.

• Richard - Very bright meteor South to North, Sunday Nov. 28th.

  Speaker

   Garry displayed equipment he uses for radio counting of meteors – modified car radio with computer software ( Radio Sky Pipe, Spectrum-Lab). Spaceweather.com had a short movie of a meteor trail with atmospheric disturbance.

  Sky Next Month

  Observing Activity Report – Robert outlined the recent event at Admiralty House with approximately 40 people in attendance, several Geminids observed.

  Robert distributed a sheet on Sky Highlights for December 2010 and did an audio-video presentation of the sky tonight.

  Coffee & Social

   Members were invited to partake in a Christmas Ssocial and to continue informal discussion.
